- La gente usa el término the establishment (a veces escrito the Establishment, con E mayúscula) cuando se refieren a la estructura política, económica o social de una comunidad en general, o cuando se refieren a organizaciones y grupos dominantes en su sociedad. Ejemplo: Jane Jones was unexpectedly elected president, despite disapproval by the establishment. Otro ejemplo: They were a group of young people who rebelled against the establishment, but eventually became part of it, when they joined one of the major political parties.
